Born in Provence, Nicolas studied business law and specialised in the wine industry from Bordeaux University. When he moved to London as a fresh grad, he joined Fine+Rare Wines Ltd to quickly become Head of European Trade Sales there before setting up Wine Invest Ltd. Passionate about fine wine, Nicolas is always looking for new challenges and he is tirelessly working on improving Wine Invest customers experience. When he’s not hunting for great wines, Nicolas loves to hike and run in the Alpilles in South of France.
Born in Florence and raised in Tuscany until she was 7, Gen has a deep passion for wines and cooking. She joined the wine trade 10 years ago and worked for Marc Fine Wines, Premier Cru then Renaissance Vintners before joining Wine Invest. Coche-Dury Meursault 1999 and Petrus 2000 have so far been up there in her all-time drinking highlights!
Edward’s interest in fine wine was initially sparked during a year spent in San Sebastian as part of his Spanish degree. His passion for fine wine has grown rapidly since, with 5 years at Justerini & Brooks fuelling his interest in Burgundy and a short stint at Decorum opening his eyes to the wines of Montalcino. When he is not drinking wine, Ed is mostly to be found fishing or in the park with his two young children.
BSc (Hons) in Mathematics from University of Wales Cardiff and ACCA qualified. Originally working in Banking before joining Farr Vintners were he became FC and spent a stellar 6 years falling in love with the wine industry. Gabriel loves adventure travel and sailing having started in the Med at the age of 12 progressing to Peru, Pitcairn Island, Mangareva. Nowadays preferably drinking a nice Burgundy’ while doing so.
Freshly landed in London from France, Julie worked for 6 years for a University in Paris. She was in charge of communication for the continuing education department. Today, she is taking the opportunity to discover the world of wine and more particularly the aspect of logistics while improving her skills thanks to the team. She is passionate about travels, discovering new cultures and cosmetics.
Alex has over 14 years’ experience in the wine trade working at a number of significant merchants, most recently at Bancroft Wines and Armit Wines before joining Wine Invest in November this year. Over the years he has built a loyal following of private clients whom he enjoys tasting with and advising on their collections. With particular enthusiasm for classic French and Italian regions he often organises cycling trips abroad to balance his thirst for gastronomy and outdoor adventure. When Alex is not dealing in wine, he can be found enjoying countryside pursuits, experimenting on his big green egg BBQ and more recently enjoying the adventure of fatherhood.
